This allows us to detect early signs of disease & provide appropriate treatment, leading to a favorable prognosis. Tailor made treatment plans start with the correct diagnosis. We use state-of-the-art diagnostic tools which not only help use diagnose issues that may be occurring in your mouth, but also reduce the amount of harmful radiation required for this.
The Diagnocam uses a laser to find decay. This laser is not harmful and does NOT emit radiation, one more way we are keeping you safe whilst not compromising the quality of your care - this is especially important for children. The Diagnocam also uses lights which help detect cracks, we can then take pictures of what we see which we can use to treat or monitor problem areas.
